Google wants to change to way you shop. On Tuesday, the tech giant introduced AI features, aimed at streamlining the shopping experience.
Basically, Google’s AI tool, Gemini, does all of the work for you. The interactive feature uses AI to help you find what you’re looking for, plus you can try on clothes virtually.
It’ll even make purchases on your behalf (via Google Play).
With AI Mode, users can scope out the perfect items. To start, you’ll enter what you’re looking for and let AI do the heavy lifting. Besides tracking down products for you, AI Mode can find them in different colors and sizes. AI Mode also features shopping recommendations, reviews, and deals to help you stay on budget.
Google’s AI Mode’s Shopping Graph has over 50 million product listings from retailers from all over the world. And you don’t have to worry about getting the most up-to-date options. Google refreshes more than two billion product listings every hour.
Find something you like? Google’s AI Mode has a “buy it for me” feature which instructs it to make purchases on your behalf. To start, choose what you want to buy — including the size, color and how much you want to spend. Google’s AI will keep and eye on the price and send you a notification when it drops.
No time to shop? AI Mode can add items to your cart and make purchases for you with Google Pay.
What else does Google’s AI Mode offer? You can try on clothes virtually by uploading your photo to Google AI Mode. The “try it on” feature also lets you save and share photos with your friends.
